Article: Be prepared.

Be prepared.

Be prepared.

Like a good scout, I’m here to help. Dib dib dib.

If you missed out on our Black Friday sales, now is definitely the time to order your presents and winter wear. We have lots of small items to wrap for dads, brothers, and your besties, like hats, scarves, ties and leather accessories. But do order soon, as the shipping deadline for delivery by Christmas is 17th (9:00am CET) December 2021.

And perhaps, unlike the COP 26 attendees, you’ve realised that winters are colder and wetter year on year and a warmer coat may be on your wish list, and like Santa’s elves, I’m here to help you choose.

For a seriously warm coat, this longer jacket covers up with padding where it's most important and has a zip in pettorina to keep your chest and neck totally hugged. There’s a secret pocket that stores a hood too, so with that and the technical fabric that is water and wind proof, you’re pretty sure to stay dry and toasty. Can be worn over a suit as the coat is long enough to cover a suit jacket or over casual kit too. Great to watch the rugby in, unless you’ve the macho badge that proves you can handle serious cold! Choose from two colours.

For a more traditional coat and one maybe more suited for smarter events and the races, try one of these wool coats, which are cut to cover up still, but have a raglan sleeve to allow movement even if wearing a chunky knit or a suit underneath. (read – you can throw snowballs). The pockets are ample to put your hands in while wearing gloves and with the three varieties, you can show off a bit of personality with accessories like a scarf or beanie from the range too. The sensible choice would be the plain navy, but for the adventurer we know that you are, why not try the grey or the country check. Stand out a bit, you can wear all navy underneath, it’s ok (honestly).

Wool has obvious warming properties but also wicks moisture, so the odd shower won’t hurt. This is the kind of coat that will look after you for years if you look after it.

Lesson over. As you were.
